Rabbi Shlomo Perlstein learned in Yeshiva Chasan Sofer, Ponovezh Yeshiva, Bais Medrash Govoha of Lakewood and went on to learn in Kollel Ponovezh. He learned in Yeshiva Bais Yehuda in B'nei B'rak and was a close talmid of R' Dovid Feinstein, son of R' Michel Feinstein. He then spent many years learning Choshen Mishpat, was meshamesh R' Mendel Shafran and served as a Dayan on R' Nissim Karelitz's Beis Din. He served as a sho'el u'mayshiv and magid shiur for 10 years in B'nei B'rak and recently began serving as Moreh Hora'ah in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood in Yerushalayim and gives many shiurim in the neighborhood.
He has been a highly acclaimed maggid shiur in Eretz Yisroel for the past 11 years, and is known for his exceptional clarity and tremendous breadth of knowledge; specializing in Choshen Mishpat topics.
